On a Sunday afternoon, Vanessa Amiero, a Bibingka vendor is busy slathering butter in batches of Bibingka which are ready to be sold for five pesos each in front of Bacolod City Public Plaza across San Sebastian Cathedral.

In the surge of the on-going pandemic, where everyone is at risk, Vanessa untiringly wakes up early to attend to her source of living for over 30 years now.

Selling Bibingka for more than three decades served as her bread and butter in providing the needs of her family.

Not only Vanessa sells to provide for her family's needs but she also serves as a reminder to people that Christmas season is right around the corner.
